The era of forwards
The amount of forwards that have been pouring in recently makes me wonder if the concept of originality has in fact disappeared. Forwards that spread like wild fire because of the different claims made in it does show how people in this world do not want to miss even one chance to make their life better..
Some classical example of forwards:
1) The forward that claims that papaya leaves have the healing power for dengue fever and how a boy who was hospitalised for dengue was discharged in a day after his platelet count increased after he was given papaya leaves juice by his father. Surprising, isn't it? Makes us wonder if it would really be true.
Now we know one of the nominees for nobel prize this year.
2) im pavithra am studing final yr BBM in vidhya vardhaka college . i lost my eyes. the cost 6lacs. i dnt know u bt, if u snd this sms i'll get 10p. if u hv heart plz fwd atleast 10 members. you dont neglect this is true.. may god bless u. please help her.
This makes me wonder why would anyone benefit if some xyz gets to forward some mail like this. Why would the doctors want to spend their time on tracking all the people who have forwarded the mails if in fact it is possible. Maybe this is one of the ways of making doctors net savvy.
3) Sharing 7 Characters First i like u, then i loved u, Now i'm afraid to lose u, If you dont send this to everyone on ur list, u will lose the person you love. sorry i dont wana lose the person i love.......................... ......................................................................................................................if i dont get this back i guess your not my friend. if u have a lot of love 4 someone... copy and send this 2 ur whole buddy list..in 5 min. ur true love will suprise u
Wow... If one could get the love of their life by sending some message like the above to everyone in their list..

Well I got the forward listed 2 in this post and wondered how in the world would they benefit from my forwarding the mail. So I got curious and searched in google by pasting the message in google and got to your blog. Now was a nice topic for blog though I did not see the final conclusion for this subject. Thought you would edit the post and post a conclusion whether or not you believe in these and may be with some reasons.
Ofcourse I do not believe in such forwards...
Now for the reason for not believing in such forwards, why would anyone give away money just like that? If someone wants to pay money, they would anyway do it, even if mail is not forwarded, why would they spend money tracing such mails which would inturn cost them more than they would give away. Isn't it?
I would suggest everyone whoever gets such forwards to do what could be best done with such mails... "shift+delete"... :D
Waise it was nice to know that my blog also comes up in google search....
I was searching for infosys benefits link and googled for "infosys-benefits com" saw a link which read "Life is a journey" started reading the content untill read each word of it :). Everything was really hilarious, i have too experienced few similar emotions as you :) one was Est or west India is BEST! Definitely! Have you published anything else aprt form this blog?

Thanks Masaud... It really felt nice to see that someone reads my blog and infact likes it... I had been busy so didn't get time to write anything but after seeing at your words of appreciation, I will have to start writing again.. :D
yeah you should continue writing.
Isn't it a kind of power - a person bringing a smile on someone's face without knowing him and even if the other person is thousand's of miles away.
The thing which is catchy in your writing is - Unlike others, you are not choosy for words, you just express it in simple words the way you see, hear or feel things / events.
